A little more of the Bigfoot Chester. We seem to be playing a little more. We even have a some of shows coming up in the next couple of months. Getting fancy!
This one was at the Dam Red Barn out near Canyon Lake (about 30 minutes West of 35). It's a barn. That has a bar. Lots of crazy stuff all over the place (see the last post) and a 20 foot piss trough in the men's room.
While everyone else was getting setup I was sitting at the bar having a free (!) beer talking with some folks. Eventually Adel's song "Someone Like You" comes on and this guy who was in is mid 40's says "Oh no, this song always makes me cry" and excuses himself and heads outside. It must have been an emotional night. He didn't come back!
Breakdown
Did I mention free beer! I was happy.
The only drawback was the "regular" one in a place like this. They want you to play a lot of country and we play a little of it. The country we play is old (good) and to some folks it's not considered country. A minor issue, but...
